With a model proven across multiple markets, Compass provides highly personalized strategic consulting services to local nonprofits. Through six service lines, we help our clients address key strategic challenges and opportunities. While our processes and tools help guide our work, each Compass project is unique and tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Compass’ consulting services often extend beyond the specific scope of the project. Compass not only delivers focused analysis and recommendations, but also advises along the way. Many of our volunteers stay involved with their clients and the nonprofit sector after their projects end.
Compass works with a cohort of nonprofit clients beginning in August each year. Our Classic Projects run through May. Each consulting team is staffed with a Project Leader, a Deputy Project Leader, and six Team Members.
We provide trainings for both our clients and our volunteers, along with tools to support each service line. At the end of the project in May, we host a Volunteer Celebration to thank our volunteers.
In Greater Washington, we also offer Micro Projects that serve smaller nonprofits over five months. Each consulting team is staffed with a Project Leader and three Team Members.
