Sustainable Growth for Sustained Impact

The Client

Code Savvy (www.codesavvy.org)

Code Savvy’s mission is to interrupt and counteract existing gender, racial, and socioeconomic gaps in computing by equipping everyone with the knowledge, skills, and support to create with technology.

The challenge

Code Savvy looked to scale a key program and requested a Decision Support Project to assess the market opportunity and evaluate new, more sustainable program delivery methods.

Finding the solution

The Compass Pro Bono volunteer team began by conducting a discovery, data gathering, interview, and analysis phase. At the mid-point of the project, they presented the interview results, SWOT analysis, and a list of critical issues to the Code Savvy board of directors. From there, they began an external program assessment to research how other programs are adapting models in hybrid or virtual models, and a digital assessment to explore existing or new services that could be offered with new digital technologies.
