EveryMind focuses on increasing awareness of mental health and reducing the stigma of mental health in the community. EveryMind serves children and adults, members of the military, veterans, and their families through direct services, advocacy, and community education.
EveryMind sought Compassโ support to expand their visibility and outreach into Greater Washington, DC. EveryMind requested a Compass strategic marketing project that would include recommendations for reaching new audiences and increasing public awareness of their services.
The Compass team of eight business professionals brought extensive expertise in strategic marketing and market research, communications and positioning, and management consulting. To understand the external landscape, they researched public sentiment around mental health, interviewed EveryMind Board members and employees, and benchmarked EveryMind against comparable organizations.
The team focused on a strategy to raise public awareness and create demand for EveryMindโs education programs and ensure it is equipped to carry out proposed growth plans. The project culminated with the following deliverables:
- A messaging strategy for core and aspirational audiences, as well as an assessment of the best opportunities to better serve the community
- Sample monthly metrics with indicators to help track alignment with their strategic plan
- A six-month implementation timeline
