Sorkin Summit

Sorkin Summit 2021

The 4th annual Sorkin Center Summit was held on May 18 and May 20, 2021, 9:30-11:30 am.

The Summit is a training for nonprofit board members, individuals interested in board service, and Executive Directors. The event offers sessions on best practices in board governance, finance, fundraising and more. Nonprofit experts lead each session, along with panels of board members, Board Chairs and Executive Directors from local nonprofits bringing their real-world experience.

Board members from the same nonprofit often attend the Summit as a group, along with their Executive Director. This joint learning lets the newly trained board members immediately translate their knowledge into action on their own board. The Summit also provides opportunities for board members to meet fellow local nonprofit leaders.

Please contact Wendy Gualtieri at or 202-280-1761 for more information.
