Deputy Chief of Staff
Remy joined Compass as a Project 55 Fellow, a rotational position supported by Princeton AlumniCorps, and now serves as Deputy Chief of Staff. Originally from San Diego, Remy has spent eight years studying homelessness through sociological research and journalistic projects. He views music as a medium for transformative connection; in college, he sang a cappella, played Japanese taiko drums, joined a homeless chorus, and explored music from across the African continent while studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. Remy has completed two pro bono consulting projects with Compass in the Greater Washington region: one for Arlington Thrive (2021-22), and one for Pathways to Housing D.C. (2022-23). Remy received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, where he studied Public and International Affairs, Philosophy, and Journalism.
