Melanie graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in Psychology and was awarded a fellowship that brought her to Washington, D.C., to work in the nonprofit sector. As a Strategy Fellow at Compass, she supports data analysis and strategic initiatives. Born in Guatemala and raised in Nevada, Melanie is a first-generation college student who has served as a bridge across cultural, generational, and educational divides. In her free time, she enjoys visiting home to help at her family’s restaurant, playing the cello and piano, training for triathlons, and staying involved in her local church community.
