Lisa Gaffney

Lisa Gaffney specializes in organizational strategy and planning, and program and financial management. Following a 20+ year career in finance, Lisa transitioned her focus to the nonprofit sphere out of a desire to use her expertise to help strengthen organizations in the sector. She has worked as a nonprofit strategic planning consultant for the Support Center for Nonprofit Management and Wellspring Consulting, in corporate and foundation development with FINCA International, and program management with Compass Pro Bono and the Taproot Foundation. During her finance career, Lisa was an award-winning securities analyst, on the sell-side and in institutional asset management, with firms including Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, and JPMorgan Chase. Lisa has been a Compass Pro Bono volunteer, served on multiple nonprofit  boards, and is currently on the board of SEEC.

Lisa received an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from Duke University.
